Welcome to Smart Scholars Tutors! Founded by Stephanie Henson, Ed.S., and Mary Anne Willet, our mission is simple: to provide personalized, affordable, and flexible tutoring services for families in San Marcos, TX, and the surrounding communities. Rooted in our passion for education and our love for the San Marcos community, we created Smart Scholars to extend our support beyond the classroom walls, helping students and families achieve their academic goals.
As educators in the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, we’ve seen firsthand the challenges diverse learners face, especially in a Title 1 school setting. We understand that every student deserves not just an education, but a personalized approach that meets their unique needs and helps them thrive. That’s why we’re dedicated to offering a service that combines academic excellence with genuine care, collaboration, and connection.
Smart Scholars Tutors isn’t just a tutoring service—it’s a partnership. We work hand-in-hand with families to provide intervention support for reading and math, dyslexia services, IEP and SPED support, gifted and talented enrichment, and grade-level reinforcement and extensions.
